HRDC

Human Resources Development cell conducts regular counseling sessions to guide The students in the right direction. The sessions are aimed to achieve an overall Development of the student are to make him to become an all round personality.
Seminars /guest lectures / workshops etc are arranged periodically and resource Persons who are specialists in the field are invited to impart knowledge an Technical subject.Traning on employabily skills is regularly arranged.

Thanks to the efforts of the cell, the College has an enviable placement record

Training and Placement Cell is an integral part of our institution. The institute has provided complete infrastructure for effective functioning of the cell. Training activities are organized throughout the year in preparing the prospective students for the campus selection programmes. The cell is sensitized to function all through the year towards generating placement and training opportunities for the students

Reputed industrial houses across the country visit our institute regularly for the campus recruitment programmes. The placement cell coordinates quite well with the corporate sector and provides well-developed infrastructure to facilitate the campus selection programmes. The cell is designed to function with a high degree of professionalism. It provides almost instantaneous data to the corporate sector with regard to the candidates available for consideration towards placement in accordance with the perceived requirements.

We are accreditated by the prestigious Engineering Industries, IT Professionals for recruitment. To coordinate the placement activities the college has a separate placement cell headed by Senior Personnel in Human Resources Department. Industry Institute Partnership forms an important activity for any academic institute as its stakeholders interact with the real world.

Firstly, the students are benefited due to exposure to current industry practices, updation is possible as and when changes occur in technology, teaching faculty get accustom the latest practices leading them to blend practice with thel theoretical teaching methods.

Training& Placement Report -Academic year (2007-2008)
On campus interviews conducted/ planned during the academic year 2007-08:
01. College organized a campus recruitment drive on 30.01.2008. M/s Sutherland Global Services , Chennai recruited students. About 150 students attended the interview .16 final year students & three 2007 passed out students of PABCET were selected and 30 students of PABCET were short listed as trainees.

02. College organized a campus recruitment drive on 13.02.2008 and 14.02.2008 .M/s Roland Technology Solution,Chennai conducted the drive . BE( CSE),B.Tech(IT)&MCA students with 65% marks & above and with no standing arrears were eligible to attend the interview. About 200 students from more than 20 colleges located in Trichy, Thanjavur, Thiruvarur, Nagappatinam, Pudukkottai and Karur districts attended the interview. 20 students were selected .04 students of PABCET were selected

03. College organized a campus recruitment drive by M/s Shriram value services (P) Ltd ,Chennai on 12.03.2008 .Final year B.E, BTech, MCA and MBA and 2007 passed out students with first class attended the interview. 03 students of our college are selected.

04. College organized a campus recruitment drive by M/s Sure Soft Systems Private limited ,Pondicherry on 14.03.2008. B.E, B.Tech & MCA students with 65%&above marks were eligible to attend the interview. About 200 students from 20 colleges in Tiruchy, Thanjavur,Tiruvarur , Karur, Nagappatinum,Cuddalur and Pudukkottai districts attended the interview. 08 students of PABCET are shortlisted.

05. College organized a campus recruitment drive by M/s Slash Support,
Chennai on 08.04.2008 . Final year B.E, BTech, MCA and 2007 passed out students attended the interview. About 300 students from 20 colleges in Tiruchy, Thanjavur,Tiruvarur Karur, Nagappatinum,Cuddalur and Pudukkottai districts attended the interview. 06 students of our college are selected .

06. College organized a campus recruitment drive by M/sLive IT recruiters,Bangalore, representing L&T Infotech,Polaris,TCS,Accenture etc on 08.04.2008. Final year B.E, BTech, MCA and 2007 passed out students with first class from PABCET and surrounding colleges attended the interview. 01 student of our college is selected

01. Mr Prem , HR manager , M/s Sutherland Global Services visited our college on 30.01.2008 and made a power point presentation on “Career prospects for fresher in M/s Sutherland Global Services “ 3rd and 4th year B.E & B.Tech students attended the presentation.

02. Mr Venkataraman ,HR Manager M/s Roland Technology Solution, Chennai made a power point presentation on 13.02.2008 on “Growth opportunities for software developers in M/s Roland Technology Solution”.

03) Mr J.Manivannan,HR Manager,M/s Shriram Value Services (P)Ltd, visited our college on 12.03.2008 and made a presentation on” Career prospects for management Trainees in M/s Shriram Value Services (P) Ltd.”

04) Mr R.Raghuraman, HR Executive, M/s Sure Soft Systems Pvt Ltd,Pondicherry visited our college on 14.03.2008 and gave a powerpoint presentation on “ Career and growth options for fresher in M/s Sure Soft Systems Pvt Ltd”.

05) Mr Simon,M/s Slash Support,Chennai made a power point presentation on “Career prospects for freshers in M/s Slash Support” on 08.04.2008.

06) Mr Vimal Nathan,Live IT recruiters made a power point presentation on “ Job opportunities in IT sector” on 08.04.2008.

Students of our college attended off campus interviews in the academic year 2007-2008 of companies like L&T Infotech, I flex, Agile Programmers, L&T, Energy Infotech, Reliance Life Insurance, Congnizant Technology Solutions ,Tata Consultancy Services,Honeywell etc. conducted at various colleges.
